We offer several different options and prices for restoring the metal finish of your beloved fire stick.
Slow Rust Blue: This is the oldest and most durable method of bluing. This finish is an excellent choice for those wanting to restore an antique firearm, and keep its originality. Provides excellent protection for modern guns as well. This process is slow, and time consuming, and therefore more costly than other methods. Prices start at 200 and go up depending upon the level of polish desired.
Hot Blue: Bluing using hot caustic salts, the current industrial standard for bluing. Please be aware that certain firearms cannot be blued by this method such as older double barreled shotguns, and guns with a hi nickel content in the steel, typically 1964-1994 winchesters. Prices vary upon desired polish but start at 200.00
